Mr. Manning is my friend and next door neighbor. Bill was born and raised in Atlanta and worked in the woodworking industry until 1955 when he retired and then opened his own cabinet shop. After 25 more years he finally retired to be with his wife Ethel, son and daughter and 5 grand daughters, 5 cats and 3 dogs and his pride and joy woodworking shop (garage) where he builds our wood nest boxes and travel cages with intensive care.
Mr. Manning uses only the best exterior waterproof ply wood for the boxes. The sides are 1/8 inch; the top is 1/2 inch. He makes sure that they are the best nest boxes made by using water proof glue along with his staple gun. Finally, he sands each box for a splinter free finish.
Because of his excellent building skills and the use of waterproof materials, I am able to wash and disinfect my nest boxes after each clutch leaves the nest. I use them year after year!
I am very proud Mr. Manning is my friend and builder of our wood bird supplies.
