over a dozen birds in larger flight cage. These perches stretch across the width of the cage (approx. 30" width -- 2 sets) with a couple extra for another cage. The canaries immediately used them and most choose to roost overnight in them. I'm planning on getting more. The only reason a 5 star rating was not given is that the round twist connectors do not easily accommodate a little thicker diameter cage bar. I had to use pliers on one cage to get them to attach and I worried I'd strip them. I skipped multiple perches and only used 3 or 4 connectors for the entire string of perches spanning the width of the cage.
I was skeptical that my Gouldian finches would use this stress perch. They didn't use it when I had only 3 birds in the aviary. When I added 3 new juveniles to the flock, I think the older birds needed some alone time from the "kids." Now they all use the perches at night, getting settled as dusk falls. It was a little tricky figuring out how to put it together, but I figured it out. As I add more birds, I will be sure to have a stress perch for each one of them.
